As a matter of policy, we do not sell or distribute any personally identifiable information about you, such as your email address, to any third party. In very rare cases, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, therefore, although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personally identifiable information or private communications will always remain private.
We do not currently maintain an email list, and will never contact you by mass email in regards to The Area Decoder. We ask for your email address in our feedback form so that we can reply to you personally, if we need to.
We do not currently encrypt search requests to The Area Decoder website, nor do we encrypt the customer feedback information. If in the future we decide to offer services which require any sensitive personal information, we will protect your privacy by using secure communications. We believe that the information we currently collect is non-valuable to anybody but us, and as such, it doesn't require any encryption.
All data we collect is stored on a server that is not accessible from the internet. We stay aware of the current security issues and go to length to protect our network from outside intruders (hackers). Although the chances of your personal information being exposed as a result of information theft are minute, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personally identifiable information or private communications will always remain private. Please note that "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.
